Amy Johnson

Amy Johnson practices in the areas of trusts and estates, adoptions, domestic partnerships and other personal and business issues, particularly as they affect the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Community.

Amy is a noted lecturer, speaking often locally and at national conferences. She’s been featured in Law & Politics’: Who’s Who in Estate Planning. Amy is Treasurer of the Minnesota Lavender Bar Association; Treasurer of Philanthrofund Community Foundation; a Commissioner on the Minneapolis Civil Rights Commission; and, in her capacity as a national leader and advocate, is a three-term past Co-Chair of the ABA affiliate: the National Lesbian and Gay Law Association. She is a current board member of the NLGLA and a fellow at Johns Hopkins University’s British American Project.
